Roasted Tuna Bahn Mi

Armed with some yummy tuna steak leftovers from last night’s dinner, I made a tasty bahn mi inspired sandwich. I used a 2 day old baguette end that managed to maintain its softness because I kept it in a reused produce bag. I toasted it anyway just to temper the potential stale taste and give me some crunch. Mayo on the bread, then slices of left over tuna steak from last night’s dinner (Gwynneth Paltrow’s hot nicoise salad from her book My Father’s Daughter…more on the book in a later post). Then I added some cilantro and strips of green onion and topped it off, a little drizzle of sriracha. Easy peasy.

I started wolfing it down and then realized it looked so pretty I should document it.
